Adair County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue, 15 Mar 2016

Indictments brought against 3 individuals, from Columbia and Dunnville, KY. Charges include flight, speeding, reckless driving, burglary and assault.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 15 March 2016:

Elden Passmore, Sr. (1/21/1962), N Hwy 127, Dunnville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00015. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Fleeing or evading the police, 1st degree. Count 2 - Fleeing or evadinng the police, 2nd degree. Count 3 - Reckless driving. Count 4 - Speeding. Count 5 - Improper start. Bail set at $5,000 c/p. Arraignment 3/29/2016 at 1pmCT.

James D. Burnett (10/02/1967), Mt. Tussell Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00016. Charge with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Assault, 4th degree. Bail set at $5,000 c/p. Arraignment 3/29/2016 at 1pmCT.

Allison Jo Rice (12/08/1981), Knifley Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00017. Charged with 7 counts. Count 1 - Fleeing or evading police, 1st degree. Count 2 - Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree. Count 3 - Disarming a police officer. Count 4 - Resisting arrest. Count 5 - Reckless driving. Count 6 - Disorderly conduct. Count 7 - Menacing. Bail set at $5,000 c/p. Arraignment 3/29/2016 at 1pmCT.
