ACPC students bury time capsule to be opened in 2066 Capsule will be opened in 50 years on when the building is destroyed - whichever comes first Click on headline for full story with photo(s) By Patty Jones Jelaina Barnes, a kindergarten student teacher at Adair County Primary from Lindsey Wilson College, had an idea....a great idea. She, along with her kindergarten class from Ms. Amber Bledsoe's classroom and other ACPC students, collected items and placed them in a Time Capsule. On Thursday, March 17, Miss Barnes along with her class buried the capsule in front of the school. Directions on the plaque to be placed by the capsule will instruct future staff and students at ACPC to open the capsule 50 years from this date or when the building is destroyed...whichever comes first. Items from the students and staff depicting the day to day adventures of a primary school are loviningly placed inside. Patty Jones, the writer of this story, is Principal of Adair County Primary Center, 158 Col. Casey Drive, Columbia, KY This story was posted on 2016-03-18 06:27:17
