Project Graduation underway for Campbellsville High CHS project graduation committee soliciting donations By Calen McKinney Campbellsville High School project graduation committee is soliciting donations, and will host several upcoming fundraisers. On Friday, March 25, and Saturday, March 26, committee members will have roadblocks set up by the Green River Plaza shopping center from noon to about 6pmCT/7pmET on Friday and from 8amCT/9amET to about 6pmCT/7pmET on Saturday. The committee will receive 15 percent of proceeds at Daddy Yo's Frozen Yogurt, 399 Campbellsville Bypass, on Friday, April 1. Those who would like to support the CHS group should mention the fundraiser when ordering. Chick-fil-A, 783 University Drive, Campbellsville University, will donate a portion of its proceeds to the committee on Thursday, April 21, from 3:30pmCT/4:30pmET to 6:30pmCT/7:30pmET The fundraiser should be mentioned when ordering. On Friday, April 22, the project graduation committee will host a dance at CMS, 315 Roberts Road, Campbellsville, KY. Committee members will sell concessions. And on Saturday, April 23, the committee will host a bake sale at Kroger, 399 Campbellsville Bypass, in Green River Plaza. Letters have been sent to local businesses and organizations soliciting donations for the project graduation celebration. Any CHS parents who would like to help with organize the celebration are welcome to do so by contacting Swafford. Project graduation is a celebration open exclusively to high school seniors who have just graduated. The celebration is typically scheduled for a few hours after graduation. This year's Campbellsville High School graduation ceremony will be Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10amCT/11amET, at Hamilton Auditorium, Campbellsville High School, 230 W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. At project graduation, graduates play games, win prizes and eat together. The event is likely one of the last times the class will be together as a group.
