Ruby Hampton, 77, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Woodson Lewis Dobson and Lucy Lee Akin Dobson, was born October 6, 1938, in Green County, KY. She died at Friday, March 11, 2016 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 77 years, nine months, and five days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Rickie Reynolds of Pikeville and Brian Hampton and wife, Sarah of Campbellsville, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Robbie Reynolds, Rickie Reynolds, Jr., Dyllon Reynolds, Nicholas Reynolds, Brooklyn Reynolds and Ariel Hampton

  • Two great-granddaughters, Aleigha Reynolds and Kiley Reynolds

  • One brother and two sisters: Lewis Dobson and wife, Barbara, and Eunice Milby Lee of Campbellsville, KY; and Ruth Miller and husband, Don of Louisville
  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
  • She was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters: Herbert Dobson, Mable Milby, Lauren Judd and Joyce Formby.
