Elementary students learn about careers

By Calen McKinney

Campbellsville Elementary School students recently learned about careers.

Sonya Orberson, guidance counselor at CES, recently read “Whose Hat Is This?” to students. The book asks students to guess what career a person has by looking at what hat they are wearing.

Orberson also played career bingo with students, marking off spaces using letters and then talking about careers that start with that letter.

Students also played responsibility bingo, marking off squares that contain responsible habits at home, school, with friends, in the world and within themselves.

- Calen McKinney is Public Information Officer, Campbellsville Independent Schools (CIS)
