FRYSC sponsors grandparents support group By Calen McKinney Campbellsville Independent Schools Family Resource and Youth Services Center is sponsoring a local support group. FRYSC, along with Taylor County Family Resource Center and Taylor County Youth Services Center, sponsors the Grandparents as Parents support group. Wanda Washington, executive director of Greater Campbellsville United, spoke at the group’s February meeting and discussed how people can celebrate themselves and their strengths. GAP is a support group for grandparents, aunts, uncles and others who are raising those other than their biological children, and those children attend Campbellsville Independent Schools or Taylor County Schools. The support group meets monthly. Lake Cumberland Care Giver Support Program also supports the GAP.
