LWC Men's Swimming No. 7 in final regular-season NAIA poll By Charles Balcom COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's swim team maintained their No. 7 ranking in the final regular-season edition of the 2015-16 NAIA Men's Swimming & Diving Coaches' Poll, the national office announced on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. The Blue Raiders collected 24 total team voting points to hold the same position for the second-straight poll. Lindsey Wilson's No. 7 ranking continues to be the highest in program history for the men's team. SCAD Savannah (GA) took over the top spot in the poll with 63 team points and four first-place votes. Olivet Nazarene (IL) slipped to second with 57 points and the final first-place vote. West Virginia Tech completes the top three with 48 points. Additional teams from the Mid-South Conference to be ranked include No. 4 Lindenwood-Belleville (IL) with 43 points and Cumberlands (KY) at No. 5 with 34 points. Lindsey Wilson is coming off a third-place finish at the MSC Championships back on February 6. The Blue Raiders are currently preparing for the 2016 NAIA National Championships.
