Motorcyclist arrested after 15 mile high speed pursuit on LBN

Christian county man alleged to have been traveling at 117 MPH on Parkway stopped at 34 Mile Marker in Metcalfe County lodged in Adair County Regional Jail facing multiple charges.

COLUMBIA, KY - (Tue 23 Feb 2016) A Christian County man was arrested Monday, February 22, 2016 at approximately 7:55pmCT, following a pursuit on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway. Tpr. Levi Scott observed a motorcycle traveling at 117 MPH and initiated his emergency equipment and attempted to make a traffic stop.



The operator fled and continued west bound for approximately 15 miles before stopping at the 34 mile marker in Metcalfe County.

20-year-old Trent Pursiful, of Fort Campbell KY, was charged with Speeding, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st degree, Reckless Driving and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. He was lodged in the Adair County Jail.

Issuance of warrants and/or arrests are not findings of guilt. An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
