Ronald John Brouckaert, 73, Columbia, KY (1942-2016)

Ronald served in the U.S. Army and of the Catholic faith. He worked as a Real Estate Broker and was a proud member of The Adair County Garden Club. He was a native of Michigan and a resident of Kentucky at the time of his death. His wife, Glenda Musselman Brouckaert, survives.

Ronald John Brouckaert age 73 of Columbia, KY formerly of Michigan, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 10:30pmET, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Cremation has been chosen. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.



Ronald John Brouckaert, 73 Columbia, KY (1942-2016)


He was born February 11, 1942 in Berkley, MI the son of the late John and Grace Riga Brouckaert. He died Sunday, February 7, 2016, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at theage of 73 years, 11 months, and 27 days.

Ronald served in the U.S. Army and of the Catholic faith. He worked as a Real Estate Broker and was a proud member of The Adair County Garden Club.

Ronald is survived by his wife Glenda Musselman Brouckaert.

He is also survived by:
  • Two daughters Kelly and her husband Dan Book of Fraser, MI and Tracy Brouckaert of Sterling Heights, MI.
  • One son Tony Brouckaert of Clinton Township, MI
  • One step-daughter Shelia and husband John Ruczienski of Columbia, KY
  • One step-son Rick Addens of Mt. Clemens, MI.
  • Two brothers David Brouchaert of North Carolina and Gordie Brouchaert of Las Vegas, NV.
  • Three sisters Marlyn Gatenbien of Minnesota, Gaylene Barker of Michigan and Sharon Park of Michigan.
  • 14 grandchildren, two great grandchildren
  • several nieces and nephews
  • a host of other family and friends survive.
