PAC is holding a Meet & Greet today, Sat 6 Feb 2016

The Wet-Dry Election is just 44 days away, to be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 with polls open 6am-6pmCT.

PAC, Progress in Adair County, is holding a Meet & Greet from 8amCT until 12pmNoonCT, at its headquarters at 808 Jamestown Street (most often referred to as the Prescription Shop Building), according Shannon Sexton, chair.

"We're wanting to provide answers to everyone," she said, "and because we're hoping this will election will draw a huge turnout, we'll be providing an opportunity to register to vote while voters are here," she said.

(A note: New voters can register today, during the same time frame, at Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer's office, in Ste 3, Adair County Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY, and absentee mail in ballots may be requested there today.)

Not much is know about it, but an organization called "Adair County Values" is or is being organized which opposes the sale of alcoholic beverages in Adair County - legal or otherwise. A recent meeting of that organization is reported to have drawn over 100 in attendance.
