Jerry Lane Young age 57 of Greensburg died Thursday, January 28, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Monday, February 1, 2016, at Mt Gilead Christian Church, 919 Skinhouse Branch Road, Greensburg, KY, with burial in the Mann Cemetery near Edmonton, KY. Visitation will be after 3pmCT, Sunday, January 31, 2016, at the church until service time Monday.

He was the son of the late Truman & Agnes Ray Smith Young. He was born Sunday, September 21, 1958. He died Thursday, January 28, 2016, at his home in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 57 years, four months, and seven days.

He was a loader operator and member of the Mt. Gilead Christian Church.

He is survived by the following:
  • Three children: Timmy and wife Lindsey Young of Columbia, KY; Jamie and wife Becky Young of Greensburg, KY; and Stacie Ray and husband Larry of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four brothers: Randy, Jeff, Michael and Terry Young all of Greensburg, KY

  • Three sisters: Bonnie Cowan of Columbia, KY; and Becky Campbell and Brenda Hollings both of Greensburg, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren: Wesley, Kailey, Ryan, Katie, Eathan, Brookly, Jaylynn and Justice Bryice Young, and Austin, David and Elena Ray.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family burial fund.
