He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Branham Tabernacle in Jeffersonville, IN where he served for many years as a deacon. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and worked at Johnson Control Battery Plant.

Walter Douglas Noel, 81, of Louisville, KY died at 8:48amET, Monday, January 25, 2016 in Louisville.

His funeral was held at 1pmCT/2pmET Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Willard Collins. Entombment was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY.




Mr. Walter Douglas Noel, 81, Taylor County, KY (1934-2016)

Walter Douglas Noel of Louisville, KY, was the son of the late Felbert Ray Noel and Pearl Gabehart Noel. He was born February 9, 1934 in Casey County, KY, and died at , Monday, January 25, 2016, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 11 months, and 16 days.

Mr. Noel united in marriage to Mezetta Ann Campbell July 6, 1963.

Besides his wife Mezetta Noel, he is survived by
  • Three sons: Michael Noel and Nathan Noel of Louisville and Joseph Noel and wife, Tina of Jeffersonville, IN;

  • Three brothers and two sisters: Edward Noel, Bennie Noel, Henry Noel, Martha Noel and Ruth Noel

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers: Mary Elleen, Nellie, Marie, Mabel, Mamie Wanda Jean, Charles Shelby, Earl Ray and Samuel Lee.
