Seth Truman Owens, 85, of Windsor, Ky died Sunday, January 24, 2016 at his home. The family chose cremation with no visitation or service.



Seth Truman Owens, 85, Windsor, KY (1930-2015)

He was born April 6, 1930 in Casey County to the late Willard Perkins & Ella Vida Dause Owens. He died Sunday, January 24, 2016, in Windsor, KY, at the age of 85 years, nine months, and 18 days.

He was a carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Lenvil, Ed, Decatur, Ozias, and George Owens and by one sister, Dorneth Burton.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Mathison Owens, Windsor, KY, and the following:
  • Four children: Greg Owens, Russell Springs, KY; Debbie Luttrell, Windsor, KY; Brenda (Jeff) Lee, Liberty, KY; and Tracy (Brent) Clements, Windsor, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren

  • One sister: Valeria Godby, Russell Springs, KY
  • Several nieces and nephews
