Glenn Derl Raines of Danville, KY passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was 82.

Funeral services are 12pmCT/1pmET, Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Dwight Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in Caney Fork Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard. Visitation is 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Monday, January 18, 2016 at the funeral home.

Born September 3, 1933 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Howard and Emma Goode Raines. He died Saturday, January 16, 2016, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 82 years, four months, and 13 days.

Survivors include:
  • A daughter, Onita Clements of Danville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Bryan Sharp, Amanda Clements Foster, Amber Clements, and Noah Clements

  • Five great-grandchildren

  • A brother: James Raines of Danville, KY

  • And sister: Phyllis Buck of Hamilton, Ohio
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Lee Raines and Tommy D. Raines; and two sisters, Sondra Raines and Peggy Webb.
