CIS technology coordinator receives Dare to Soar award 'He goes above and beyond his duties to ensure teachers, staff members and administrators have the technology equipment they need, and that it is in working order. . . and he always wears a smile' Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Calen McKinney Campbellsville Independent Schools CIO/District Technology Coordinator Virgil Parker received the Dare to Soar award at Campbellsville Board of Education's regular meeting on Monday, January 11, 2016. Campbellsville Independent Schools Superintendent Mike Deaton made the presentation. Deaton said it is written on Parker's nomination form that he goes above and beyond his duties to ensure teachers, staff members and administrators have the technology equipment they need, and that it is in working order. R< And, Deaton said, Parker always does his work with a smile. Parker has enlisted his family members to volunteer with technology at District-wide events, Deaton said, and is essential to making each day a great day to be an eagle.
