Adair Co. School District recognizes School Board Members Adair County School Supt. Alan W. Reed invites everyone to join in saluting Adair County School Board members Mr. Floyd Burton, Ms. Quinn Lasley, Mr. Mike Harris, Ms. Lisa Burton and Mr. Terry Harvey. Student member Lauren McQuaide is a participating but non-voting member of the board. Dear CM readers, As we begin a new year, we continue to witness much progress being made in our school district. 
I want to take a moment to commend our board members for their continued high expectations for our district, and for their vision looking forward.I want to remind our community that the future of our community and nation lies in the hands of today's children, guided by an effective school board. The Adair County community is fortunate to have the service of 5 individuals who serve on our local board of education and who have demonstrated a willingness to ensure the success of these future leaders. These 5 public servants dedicate countless hours of their time as they provide leadership, undergo training, and set through long meetings to make decisions that ensure the continuation of the high expectations and innovation from our teachers and leaders. January is National School Board Appreciation Month. On behalf of the Adair County School District, I hope you join me in saluting our board members, Mr. Floyd Burton, Ms. Quinn Lasley, Mr. Mike Harris, Ms. Lisa Burton and Mr. Terry Harvey.
