Glenn Pittman, 63, Middleburg, KY (1952-2016)

He was a retired school bus driver with the Casey County Board of Education. He was the son of Wauneda Estes Pittman and the late Walter E. Pittman. His wife, Mary Elizabeth Pittman, survives. He leaves three direct and two step living descendants.

Glenn Pittman, age 63, of Middleburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.

Funeral Services will be held at 10amCT/11amET, Thursday January 7, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, withBro. Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will be in the Lanhamtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Wednesday January 6, 2016 and after 7amCT/8amET, Thursday January 7, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.



Glenn Pittman, 63, Casey County, KY (1952-2016)

He was born in Middleburg, KY on August 1, 1952. He was the son of Wauneda Estes Pittman of Danville and the late Walter E. Pittman. He died Sunday, January 3, 2016 in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 63 years, five months, and two days.

He was a retired school bus driver with the Casey County Board of Education.

Additional survivors, in addition to his mother, include his spouse Mary Elizabeth Pittman, and the following:
  • One son: Walter G. Pittman of Winchester, KY

  • Step-daughter: Mary Frances Lucas of Stanford, KY

  • Two grandchildren

  • One step-grandchild

  • Two sisters, Louise Godbey and Brenda Lane, both of Danville, KY.
Besides his father he was also preceded in death by one brother, James Pittman.
