By Charles Balcom COLUMBIA, KY (Wed 30 Dec 2015) - The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team used a combination of hot shooting, strong rebounding, and a tenacious defensive effort to top No. 20-ranked Martin Methodist (TN) 65-38 on Wednesday night at Biggers Sports Center. With the victory, the Blue Raiders (13-2) have now won seven-straight games this season and snapped the RedHawks' (10-3) 10-game win streak in the process. Lindsey Wilson shot 38.3 percent from the field. Martin Methodist finished at 29.2 percent and went 1-for-9 from beyond the arc. The Blue Raiders dominated on the board as they outrebounded the RedHawks 42-22, including limiting the RedHawks to four offensive rebounds.
