Ruth M. Shroyer 88, Shelbyville, IN, formerly of Jamestown, KY, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015, in Rushville, Shelby County, IN.

The funeral service for Ruth M. Shroyer will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, at 1pmCT, Thursday, December 31, with Bro. Bodie Emerson, officiating. Burial will be in Jamestown Cemetery, 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Thursday, until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

She was born May 17, 1927, in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Frank Heller and the late Helen Hugbes Heller. She died Tuesday, December 29, 2015, in Jamestown, KY, at the age of 88 years, seven months, and 12 days.

She was a business owner.

She is survived by the following:
  • Four sons: Robert Shroyer, Columbia City, IN; Mike (Pam) Shroyer, Shelbyvllle, IN; Glen Shroyer, Shroyer; and Terry (Angie) Shroyer, Bethel Ridge, KY

  • Two daughters: Lynn (Mark) Thomas, Shelbyville, IN; and Judy (Norman) Johns, Rushville, IN

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Five great grandchildren
