Injury accident occurs on Burkesville Street on rainslick road

On Saturday, November 28, 2015, Columbia Police Department was dispatched to an injury collision on Burkesville Street.

The incident occurred at 12:50pmCT, when 37 year old Jeremy Rogers of Columbia was traveling south on Burkesville Street and lost control of his 2005 Ford Focus on rain slick road.



Rogers vehicle crossed into the northbound lane of travel before striking the concrete bridge abutment.

Rogers was treated on scene by Adair County EMS then transported to Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY.

CPD Ofc. Charles Greer is investigating the collision and was assisted on scene by Officer Drew Conn .
