Campbellsville Middle academic team bests Adair Co. team By Calen McKinney Campbellsville Middle School academic teams competed on Monday, Nov. 30, and picked up a win. The CMS seventh-grade quick recall team defeated Adair County, while the sixth- and eighth-grade teams came up short. The teams will compete again on Monday, Dec. 7, in Green County, and finish the regular competition season on Monday, Dec. 14, in Adair County. The District competition will be in January. Future problem solving and composition competitions will be Jan. 19. Written assessments and quick recall competitions will be Jan. 23. Awards will also be given that day. Students who receive medals will advance to region competition. Steven Gumm is the Campbellsville Middle School academic team coach. Debbie Edwards is assistant coach.
