Dr. Janice Coffey nominates Wid Harris for CAUD vacant seat

Facsimile of letter from Dr. Coffey is linked to this item

By Ed Waggener

Dr. Janice M. Coffey, D.V.M, sent a letter nominating long time Magistrate William "Wid" Harris to serve on the Columbia/Adair County Utilities District, which has been stamped as received on November 30, 2015 at the Public Service Commission (PSC) in Frankfort, KY.

The PSC has declared a vacancy since the expiration of the term of Commissioner Rudy Higginbotham in August 2014. Fiscal Court had appointed Larry Russell Bryant to the seat but, the PSC has ruled, did not have the authority to do so after a 90 day window had expired.
