He was a member of an esteemed Green River Country of Adair County, KY, family. He was the son of the late William Oscar & Martha Lee Holt Hendrickson. His wife, Arneya Hendrickson, survives.

William Robert Hendrickson, 85, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Adair County, KY died Friday, November 20, 2015 in Indianapolis.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 1pmCT, at Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY, with burial to follow. Visitation from 11amCT until 12:45pmCT, on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY.



William Robert Hendrickson, 85, Adair Co., KY (1929-2015)

He was born November 28, 1929. He was the son of the late William Oscar and Martha Lee Holt Hendrickson. He died Friday, November 20, 2015, in Indianapolis, Marion County, KY, at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 23 days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister; Samuel Isaiah, Carl David & Paul Nelson Hendrickson and Annie Mae Turner. Survivors include:
  • His wife: Arneva Yates Hendrickson of Indianapolis, IN

  • One son: Kenneth R. Hendrickson of Indianapolis, IN

  • Four daughters : Theresa (Allen) Cornett, Connie Thompson, Martha Hendrickson & Sharon Hendrickson all of Indianapolis, IN

  • Five brothers: Thomas Amos Hendrickson, Joseph E. (Veachel) Hendrickson & John R. Hendrickson all of Indianapolis, IN, Walter O. (Sandra) Hendrickson of Louisville, KY; and James A. (Emma J.) Hendrickson of Greensburg, KY

  • Four sisters: Mattie F. Harden of Campbellsville, Sarah E. Jackson of Columbia, Ada L. (Joseph) Duncan of Indianapolis, IN, Naomi E. (Roy) Embry of Greensburg, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
