Collision at Bypass & KY 55 results in injury to one Perry County Driver faces several charges Click on headline for complete story By Ofc. Josh Brockman Columbia Police Department, Jason Cross Chief On November 22, 2015, CPD Sgt Gary Roy was dispatched to the intersection of KY 55 south and Veterans Bypass to a reported auto collision with injuries. Preliminary investigation shows that Jordan Moss of Columbia, KY, was traveling north on KY 55 in a 2012 F-150. Perry Combs of Hazard KY was traveling east on the Adair County Veterans Bypass in a 1999 Crown Victoria. Combs failed to stop and ran traffic control devise entering into the intersection and striking vehicle operated by Moss. Andrew Melson a passenger in Moss's vehicle along with Combs were treated on scene by Adair County EMS and transported to Westlake Regional Hospital. Perry Combs was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 2nd offense, no insurance, expired registration plates, and disregarding a stop sign.
