She was the daughter of Lewis Elmer & Mary Lizzie (Keith) Keith and the widow of Ernest L. Corbin. She leaves 15 direct living descendants.

Delpha E. Corbin age 81 years a resident of Summit Manor & Rehab Center in Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 11:35amCT, at Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY.

Graveside service Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 10amCT, at the Moore Cemetery, 225 Prices Creek Road, Adair County, KY. Clergy officiating Bro. Wayne Keith Interment in Moore Cemetery.

She was born on June 9, 1934 at Fairplay, Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Elmer & Mary Lizzie (Keith) Keith. She Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 11:35amCT, at Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY at the age of 81 years, five months, and eight days.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest L. Corbin On September 3, 1992. She was also preceded by two daughters Marilyn Montgomery on June 4, 2006, and Deloris Gaskins on November 2, 2008; one brother Calvin Keith; two sisters, Dorothy Strait & Myrtle Loyl and one great grandchild, Jacob Montgomery on September 7, 2005.

She is survived by the following:
  • One brother: David Keith & his wife Jeanette of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Margie Dickson of Edmonton, KY

  • Sister-in-law: Brenda Keith of Columbia, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Hope (Frank) Freeman of Bowling Green, KY; Shannon Duggins of Bowling Green, KY; Kevin Montgomery of Columbia, KY; and Shane (Jessica) Montgomery of Milltown, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • One great great grandchild

  • Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
She attended Rowena Holiness Church in Russell County and was a house wife.
