Columbia Police recover Harley allegedly stolen in Columbus, IN

Bike found while attempting to serve warrant on Tony Curtis Burton. Bike impounded, but search to serve Tony Curtis Burton continues. Additional warrants are forthcoming.

On Saturday, November 14, 2015, Columbia Police Ofc Josh Brockman and Ofc Jamie Cole attempted to serve a warrant on Tony Curtis Burton. Officers had received word that he was hiding at a residence located off of Greensburg Street and he was wanted in Taylor County.

Burton was not located at residence but officers did locate a 2005 Harley Davidson Road King that had been reported stolen from Columbus, Indiana.



The bike was recovered and placed into impound.

Additional warrants are forthcoming. Anyone with any information on the location of Tony Curtis Burton is ask to contact Columbia Police Department at 270-384-4119 or any Law Enforcement agency.

Ofc Josh Brockman is continuing the investigation. Columbia Police was assisted by Deputy Josh Durbin.
Issuance of warrants are not findings of guilt. An individual charged by police is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
