Procession Route for Officer Daniel Ellis

Funeral services for Richmond Police Officer Daniel Ellis will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11amET in the Alumni Coliseum, 641 Eastern Bypass, Richmond, KY 40475.

The Funeral Procession will leave EKU at the end of the service and will proceed approximately 100 miles to Adair County, KY.

EKU Traffic Alert: Expect delays on and around the EKU Richmond Campus on Wednesday. Expect road closures along the following route. It is unknown exactly what time these roads will close.

Procession Route
  • Leave Alumni Coliseum
  • Turn left on Bypass road Eastbound
  • Turn left on Big Hill Ave. U.S. 25 Northbound
  • Continue onto Main St. through Richmond, passing Richmond Police Department
  • Turn left on Robert Martin Road Bypass/Lexington Road Westbound
  • Turn left on I-75 south
  • Take Exit 62
  • Turn right on KY 461
  • Turn right on KY 80 west
  • Turn right on KY 914
  • Turn right on Cumberland Parkway ramp
  • Take Exit 62 Jamestown
  • Turn right on KY 127 North
  • Turn left on KY 76
  • Turn right on KY 206/Liberty Road
  • Turn right on Pellyton East Road
