Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 3 Nov 2015
Indictments brought against 26 individuals, including residents of Taylor, Casey, and Green counties. Charges include theft by unlawful taking, rape, sexual abuse, fleeing police, wanton endangerment, possession of controlled substance, assault and burglary.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 3 November 2015:
- Gary D. Harris (05/01/1978), E. Meadow Creek Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00149. Charged with 12 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree. Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 3 - Illegal possession of legend drug. Count 4 - Possession of marijuana. Count 5 - Operating motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs, w/.08 aggravator, 1st offense. Count 6 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 7 - Prescription controlled substance no in proper container, 1st offense. Count 8 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Count 9 - Failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance/security, 1st offense. Count 10 - Failure to wear seat belts. Count 11 - Improper equipment. Count 12 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $1,200 cash, no alcohol, no illegal drug use.
- Charles L. Underwood (05/16/1990), Saloma Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00150. Charged with 2 counts. Counts 1-2 - Sexual abuse, 1st degree, victim under 12 years of age. Bond set at $15,000/10%, no contact with victim.
