Phyllis Milby, age 67, of Campbellsville, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT/11amET Friday, October 23, 2015 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY with burial to follow in the Benningfield Cemetery in Marion County. The family requests visitation 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the funeral home.



Phyllis Milby, Taylor Co., KY (1948-2015)

Phyllis was born September 26, 1948 to Thomas and Alice Hudgins Close. She died Tuesday, October 20, 2015, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 67 years, 24 days.


Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Geri Hunt; sisters, Helena Warren, Frances Benningfield, Faye Sallee, Wanda Stone, Dorothy Davis, Betty Chick, Nancy Druin, Lula Warren and Marcella Close and brothers Bobby Close and Dean Close.

She is survived by:
  • Two sons, Jacky Hunt and his wife, Marlena of Bowling Green, KY; and Jason Milby and his companion, Marcella of Campbellsville, KY

  • 12 grandchildren

  • A brother Russell Close of Arizona

  • Two sisters, Lorene Caulk and Marilyn Sue Holmes of Campbellsville, KY.
