Victor (Vic) Clark, 91, Jamestown, KY (1923-2015)

He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Russell Springs, KY. He served in the U. S. Army in WW II and will be accorded military honors at interment. He was a General Foreman for Chrysler Corporation. He was a native of Pike County, KY, and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of his death. His wife, Nancy Maynard Clark, survives, as do two direct living descendants, son Don and Bill Thompson.

Victor (Vic) Clark, 91, of Jamestown, KY, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015, at his home.

Funeral Services for Vic Clark will be Friday, October 23, 2015, at 2pmCT, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY with Bro. Larry Huckaby officiating. Friends may visit on Thursday, October 22, 2015, after 5pmCT at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be at Kean Graveyard, Clifty Creek Road, Jamestown, KY



Victor (Vic) Clark, 91, Jamestown, KY (1923-2015)


He was born in Coal Run, Pike County, KY, on December 25, 1923, a son of the late Sarah (Owens) and Crit Clark. He died Monday, October 19, 2015, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 91 years, 10 months, and 24 days.

He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Russell Springs, KY.

He served in the U. S. Army in WW II. He was a General Foreman for Chrysler Corporation. He was the husband of Nancy (Maynard) Clark, of Jamestown, KY and is also survived by:
  • Two sons: Don Thompson, of Leonardtown, MA, and Bill Thompson, of Oxford, FL
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Cormal, Tom, Bill and Therlan Clark; and four sisters, Georgia Ruyons, Lola Hamilton, Opal Acres, and Verna Ramey.
