Mr. Jerry Simpson Wilcoxson, 71, Green Co., KY (1944-2015)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summershade United Methodist Church. He was a former employee for Greensburg Manufacturing Co. having worked with the company for over 20 years. Mr. Wilcoxson was also a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army. His wife of 44 years, Debra Lynn Nunn Wilcoxson, survives. He leaves five direct living descendants.

Mr. Jerry Simpson Wilcoxson, 71, of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, October 16, 2015 at his home.

The funeral services for Mr. Jerry Simpson Wilcoxson will be conducted at 10amCT, Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Summershade Cemetery will full military honors conducted by the Marion County Veteran's Honor Guard. Bro. Darrell Coffey and Bro. William Davenport will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 9pmCT, Monday, October 19, 2015, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Tuesday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Eddie Judd, Brian Burris, Tony Gray, James Darnell, Jackie Bagby, and Corey Pike.

Honorary pallbearers: Danny Burrism Charlie Simpson, Elvis Price, and Allen Pike.


Mr. Jerry Simpson Wilcoxson, 71, Green Co., KY (1944-2015)


Mr. Jerry Simpson Wilcoxson of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Thomas Hulse Wilcoxson and Beatrice Lemons Wilcoxson, was born on August 12, 1944 in Green County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Friday, October 16, 2015 at his home. He was 71 years, two months, and four days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summershade United Methodist Church. He was a former employee for Greensburg Manufacturing Co. having worked with the company for over 20 years. Mr. Wilcoxson was also a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army.

He is urvived by his wife of 44 years, Debra Lynn Nunn Wilcoxson of Greensburg, having united in marriage on November 14, 1970. Other survivors include:
  • Two sons and a daughter-in-law: Christopher Scott Wilcoxson of Greensburg, and Timothy Lee and Patricia Wilcoxson of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Angela Fields and her husband Coby; Catherine Diane Wilcoxson, and Emily Jae Pike all of Campbellsville, KY
  • A sister and brother-in-law: Flodenna Burris of Greensburg, KY
  • A brother and sister-in-law: Junior and Geneva Wilcoxson of Greensburg, KY

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
