He was a native of Adair County, KY, and resident of the county at the time of his death. He was a member of a highly regarded family. He was the son of the late Arthur and Okla Mae Coomer Bennett. He was a member of the Morris Chapel Church and was a retired mechanic and worked for Lindsey Wilson College for 15 years

Olen Juston Bennett, 71, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at 2:56 amET at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY after several months illness.

Funeral service will be Sunday October 18, 2015 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 200 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Clergy officiating will be Rev. Jeff Sparks. Interment in the Morris Chapel Cemetery. The family request visitation after 4pmCT, on Saturday, Oct 17, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



Juston Bennett, 71, Columbia, KY (1944-2015)

He was born in Morris Chapel area of Adair County on July 2, 1944. He was the son of the late Arthur and Okla Mae Coomer Bennett. He died Friday, October 16, 2015, in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, at the age of 71 years, three months, and 14 days.

Juston is survived by the following:
  • One son: Brad Bennett and wife, Belinda, of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two brothers: Walton Bennett and Odell Bennett, both of Edmonton, KY

  • Two sisters: Ruby Jessie and Ovalee Finn both of Edmonton, KY

  • Six nieces and two nephews
He was a member of the Morris Chapel Church and was a retired mechanic and worked for Lindsey Wilson College for 15 years
