KSP makes arrest in Battletown Murder (7 Oct 2015)

Kentucky State Police Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY


KSP Post 4 Investigators have made an arrest in the murder of Daniel Shane Allen, 30, of Battletown, KY. On Thursday, October 15, 2015, information was gathered through investigation by KSP Post 4 Detectives that led to the arrest of Charles Edward Williams, 37, of Elizabethtown, KY. Mr. Williams was charged with Murder and lodged in the Meade County Detention Center. The case remains under investigation and no further information will be released at this time.

An arrest is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by police is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
