Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Fri 2 Oct 2015

Indictments brought against 11 individuals, including residents of Taylor, Marion, Adair counties. Charges include theft by unlawful taking, rape, sodomy, fleeing police, wanton endangerment, possession of controlled substance, and burglary.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Friday, 2 October 2015:


  • Alex W. Fleming (06/10/1988), Connie Ln., Cromona, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00135. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Fleeing or evading police, 1st degree (on foot). Count 3 - Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree (on foot). Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $20,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.

  • David M. Lowe (09/19/1987) Indictment No. 15-CR-00136. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • David Lowe (09/19/1987) Indictment No. 15-CR-00137. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Kevin Martin (11/24/1982), N. Clark Blvd., Clarksville, IN Indictment No. 15-CR-00138. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (heroin). Count 2 - Possession of synthetic drugs. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Bond set at $1,000 cash.

  • Joey R. Tungate (12/07/1969), Fisher Creek Rd., Lebanon, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00139. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $10,000 unsecured, no contact with Walmart.

  • Melanie Verser (01/08/1984), Southern Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00140. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - TBUT or disposition Auto $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 2 - Illegal possession of legend drug. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Bond set at $2,000 unsecured. No contact with victim, MCR @ PTS, report and test weekly.

  • Ryan M. Sneed (09/11/1987), Lakeview Dr., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00141. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Count 2 - Careless driving. Count 3 - No registration plates. Count 4 - No registration receipt. Count 5 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $5,000 (100%), no use of drugs or alcohol, no new arrests.

  • Candace Tungate (10/23/1982), Duffy St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00142. Charged with 7 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree. Count 2 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 3 - Possession of controlled substance, 2nd degree (hydrocodone). Count 4 - Possession of controlled substance, 2nd degree (butalbital). Count 5 - Possession of controlled substance, 3rd degree. Count 6 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 7 - Possession of marijuana. Bond set at $2,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Davie L. Tungate (08/01/1983), Honeygale Ln, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-000143. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (drug unspecified). Count 2 - Prescription controlled substance no in proper container, 1st offense. Summons for Nov. 3, 2015 at 1pmET.

  • Brandon Reed (05/29/1980), Cloverport Estates, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00144. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking all others $500 or more but less than $10,000. Count 2 - Public intoxication controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Bond set at $2,000/10%, no contact with victim.

  • Timothy R. Davis (05/31/1987) McNary St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00145. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition - controlled substance, under $10,000. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $2,500 cash, MCR @ PTS, report and test weekly.

  • Ian M. Hoskins (06/24/1986), Sunset Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00146. Charged with 18 counts. Counts 1-8 - Rape, 3rd degree. Counts 9-14 - Sodomy, 3rd degree. Count 15 - Sexual abuse, 1st degree. Count 16 - Unlawful transaction with a minor, 1st degree. Counts 17-18 - Unlawful transaction with a minor, 2nd degree. Bond set at $5,000 unsecured, no contact with complaining witness.
