Alvin Foster Spoon, 69, Adair Co., KY (1946-2015) 
He was a member of Hadley's Community Church and the former owner
of Alvin Spoon Trucking. He was a member of a large, highly regarded South Adair County, KY, family. He was the son of Thelma Smith Spoon, who survives, and the late Garvin Spoon. His wife, Bonnie Spoon, survives. He leaves 13 direct living descendants.Obituary Posting in Progress Alvin Foster Spoon, 69, of Fairplay, KY, passed away Friday October 2, 2015, at 4:26pmCT, at Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room, Columbia, KY. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, with Rev. Elbert Hadley the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 3:30pmCT, Monday, October 5, 2015, at the funeral home. Alvin Foster Spoon, 69, Adair Co., KY (1946-2015) He was born on Saturday, February 9, 1946 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Garvin Spoon and Thelma Smith Spoon, who survives. He died Friday, October 2, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 69 years, seven months, and 23 days.
