Miss Vicky aligns with BJ Fudge; takes action, steps on toes

'Some feel they don't want to say anything because they might step on toes. Toes need to be stepped on, even stomped sometimes to get the proper attention. Sore toes will heal. It isn't a permanent condition.' - MISS VICTORIA
Comments about: Kentucky Color: Did you ever wonder? - About gas prices?

By Vicky Pike

Yes, I do wonder why at least once a week here lately. When the price of gas goes from $2.09 to $2.45 in one price increase and then the next day goes down to $2.29. In Bowling Green yesterday, it was $2.09 most places we passed. Something is wrong when prices bounce around like that in 48 hours when they don't other places.

I am with Bill Joe on this adding to the problem of attracting people to our area or keeping those already here.

I am all for buying local BUT when you don't respect your customers enough to treat them fairly then DON'T expect us to be your loyal customers and buy your local fuel when you continue to slap us in the face with increases of .34 cents per gallon and expect us to just pay it.

This is a disgusting practice that goes from station to station in just a matter of a few minutes. When one raises prices, it isn't long until the others do.

I would invite our local stations to explain this to the general public so we can understand it. Otherwise, I will be taking as much of my business as I can where customers are truly appreciated.

Please comment if you agree with me. I know most people just roll with the punches but if enough people would say enough is enough, we might could actually make some progress in this community.

Some feel they don't want to say anything because they might step on toes. Toes need to be stepped on, even stomped sometimes to get the proper attention. Sore toes will heal. It isn't a permanent condition.

So get over it and speak up when things aren't going to as they should.

End of rant, but just for the day.
