Green Co., KY driver, 22, dies in single vehicle accident

(Updated Mon 28 Sep 2015) -Tragedy occurs after midnight this morning. Operator of 1999 GMC pickup fails to negotiate a curve, leaves roadway, goes airborner, strikes a rock wall and ejecting operator and two of three occupants. Passengers taken to Jane Todd Crawford Hospital where they were treated and released. None of occupants were wearng seatbelts.

Greensburg, KY (Sat 26 Sep 2015) - Tpr. Logan Richardson is investigating a collision that occurred today at approximately 1:12amCT, 10 miles north of Greensburg on KY 61.

22-year-old Lukas K. Henderson, of Greensburg, KY, was operating a southbound 1999 GMC pickup when he failed to negotiate a curve, exited the roadway and struck a rock wall.



The vehicle then went airborne, ejecting Henderson and 2 of 3 additional passengers. 22-year-old Shelby L. Rogers, of Hodgenville, and 20-year-old Montana Noe, of Rineyville were transported to Jane Todd Crawford Hospital where they were treated and released. 21-year-old Corey A. Harmon, of Greensburg, KY was flown to University of Louisville where he was treated for a head injury and fractured shoulder. (Updated from earlier post, which reported that Harmon was taken to Jane Todd Crawford Hospital and treated and released).

Henderson died as a result of his injuries.

None of the occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
