Mr. Albert Garner Scott, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, a Green County, KY native, departed this life on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

The funeral services for Mr. Albert Garner Scott will be conducted at 1pmCT, Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Bloyd-Perkins Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Lynn Scott and Bro. Roger Scott. Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Wednesday until time of the funeral service.

Albert Garner Scott, 77, Green Co., KY (1937-2015)

Mr. Albert Garner Scott of Louisville, Kentucky, son of the late Homer Scott and Lura Thomas Dobson Scott, was born on September 21, 1937 in Green County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was 77 years, 11 months, and 30 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Holly Grove Baptist Church. He was also retired from the former Kentucky Trailers Manufacturing in Louisville, KY.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two daughters and a sons-in-law: Rhonda and Neal Bishop of Campbellsville, KY; and Robin and Mark Wheeler of Louisville, KY

  • A son: Robert Lee Scott

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Three great-grandchildren

  • A sister and two brothers: JoAnn Hildebrand and Glyn Scott of Louisville, KY; and Jerry Scott of Summersville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Besides his parents, Mr. Scott was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Crystal Marie Craddock; a sister: Christine Cox; four brothers: Ollin Scott, James Scott, Dennis Scott, and Charles Scott.
