Patricia McGowan Andrews, 71, of Jamestown, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

A prayer Service will be held at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, at 1pmCT on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at noon with Rev. David Naylor officiating.



Patricia McGowan Andrews, 71, Russell County, KY (1944-2015)

She was born in Washington, DC on August 14, 1944, a daughter of the late Rosemary (Sinyard) and James McGowan. She passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY at the age of 71 years, one month and one day.

She was a retired educator and was the wife of Rod Andrews.

She is survived by the following:
  • Five daughters: Suzanne M. Suma, of Hampshire, IL; Rachale Perez, of San Marcus, CA; Maria Viets, of San Diego, CA; Lesa Andrews, of San Diego, CA; and Pawneece Pickering, of Honolulu, HI;

  • Four sons: David P. Prokop, of Wausau, WI; Eddie Andrews, of San Diego, CA; Gary Andrews, of San Diego, CA; and Rodney Andrews, of San Diego, CA;

  • Two sisters: Madelon McGowan, of El Cajon, CA; Anita Kirkpatrick, of CA.

  • Twenty-four grandchildren

  • One great grandchild.
