Columbia, KY - (Fri 11 Sep 2015) The Metcalfe County Hornets football team proved the biggest challenge of the 2015 season for Coach Travis Gay's Adair County High School football team, but the Tribe left the field victorious for the 4th straight game, winning by a less-than-a-touchdown margin, 27-22. The game was played at Adair County High School Stadium.

In fact, Metcalfe County's offense scored more points - 27 - than all three of the first opponents had scored, combined. The Trail before last night's game: Cumulative scores after 11 Sep 2015 Game: Tribe, 156. All opponents, 47.

Air Evac Delivers game ball at ACHS vs Metcalfe HS game

The game ball was delivered to the field by Air Evac Lifeteam.
Accepting the ball was Associate Coach Jamie Bryant. The scene was captured at the Friday, September 11, 2015 football game, which the Tribe won by the closest margin of this season, defeating the tenacious Metcalfe County High School Hornets from Edmonton, KY, 27-20, to hold to maintain a perfect season.
