2 week application period for CAIP grants start Tue 1 Sep 2015 Qualifying farm operations can get 50% matching grants, up to $1,500. By Teresa Bright Applications for the 2015 Adair County Agricultural Investment (CAIP) program are available beginning Tuesday, September 1, 2015 through Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY, during regular business hours. This program is a 50% cost-share program with a maximum funding of $1,500 per farm operation. CAIP is designed to provide farmers with incentives to allow them to improve and diversify their current production practices. For information contact the Extension Office at 270-384-2317.
