Kyle B. Mann receives white coat at the U of L School of Dentistry

Saturday, August 22, 2015 Kyle B. Mann was presented his white coat at the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry White Coat Ceremony signifying his official journey in the class of 2019 Doctor of Medical Dentistry Program.

U of L Dental School Dean, Dr. John J. Sauk welcomed the 2015 freshmen dental class of 120 students, 45 from Kentucky and the other 75 members representing many states and national origins. This class was recognized as earning the designation of having the highest cumulative Dental Entry Exam Score in the history of the U of L Dental School.



The White Coat School of Dentistry Ceremony is an annual custom signifying the mark of a student’s entry into the field of dental medicine. By having first year students receive their white coat and pledge the Professional Oath, the purpose is to instill at the student’s entry into the medical field, their responsibility for personal and professional moral and ethical standards, and their professional obligation for excellent clinical and compassionate patient care.

Kyle the youngest member of his U of L Dental School class, is a 2015 graduate of the Western Kentucky University Honors College and a 2012 Graduate of Adair County High, and is the son of Gary and Brenda Mann.

Kyle is the second in his family to attend the U of L medical programs, his sister Dr. Brandi Sullivan Blackburn graduated from the U of L Medical School in 2012.

Best wishes to Kyle as he embarks on his dental education and training.
