Alta Carroll Lavigne, Taylor County, KY (1920-2015) She professed faith in Christ and was a member of ElkHorn Baptist Church where she taught the Ladies Sunday School Class for fifty-two years. She retired after some thirty-five years as a teacher with the Campbellsville Independent School System. She was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County, KY at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Leo Vernon Christman and Mary Mae Gaskins Christman.
