Columbia United Methodist Church lost a member of its family this morning when Mr. L.C. Willis died just before dawn. He was a member of a distinguished family in Adair County and was a lifelong farmer.

He died Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 82 years, nine months, and 17 days. He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Bell Willis on March 14, 2014.
