Letter to parent of Way Above Average kid

"PKCreston" writes:
Dear Parent,

Be very thankful that your child is accelerated in learning. Having been an educator for many years, albeit not in the early childhood years, I know that the intention of this program is to help children who are struggling in some aspect of their lives. Your child is waaay too young to even contemplate sending to school. Enjoy these days and realize that your child will benefit from an environment far less structured than school. He/she will not regress and, most importantly, I doubt that the school system (or whatever the affiliation), is trying to discriminate against you or your child; I'm sure they are following the guidelines and rules. How many parents do you think would love to be in your shoes?

Wondering why. -"PKCreston"
