Injury accident occurs at KY 3350 and Meader Street

2005 Ford v. 2015 Freightliner collision

From Campbellsville, KY, Police Department

On Thursday, August 06, 2015 the Campbellsville Police Department responded to a collision with injuries at the intersection of Kentucky 3350 (North Bypass) and Meader Street.

A 2005 Ford being operated by 83 year old Marion V. Barnett of Campbellsville struck a 2016 Freightliner being operated by 48 year old James M. Newton also of Campbellsville.



Barnett was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campbellsville / Taylor County EMS and later transferred to University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville.

Newton was not injured.

Sgt. Shannon Wilson was the investigating officer. Agencies involved include Campbellsville Police, Taylor County Sheriff's Office, Campbellsville Fire, and Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS.
