Wednesday, August 5th, was an exciting day at Adair County Schools. It was Opening Day for all district staff, classified and certified. The students created and ran the show again this year. Superintendent Reed stated "he was a little worried if last year could be toped but they did not disappoint!"

Students from across the district performed everything from songs, provided quotes of inspiration, skits, and all were performed with unprecedented confidence and pride! True "Leaders" in the making!

Each school was spotlighted throughout the morning for video highlights go to Adair County Schools YouTube channel and check out the short clips from the day.

(Note: Some are wondering about the letters on the floor. They are a reflection of the banner, most saw. That reflection likely wouldn't have happened last year. The finish on floors throughout the Adair County District is a result of a new, lower cost, longer lasting wax the district is using. It's the same wax, Maintenance Director David Jones says, that is used at the Pentagon. - CM)
