Two vehicle injury collision occurs on Lebanon Avenue

Drivers from Canmer, KY, not injured. Summersville, KY, driver taken to Taylor Regional Hospital. Collision occurs at intersection of Miller Park and Lebanon Avenuen in Campbellsville.

The Campbellsville Police Department responded to an auto collision with injuries on Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, at approximately 7:39amET, on Wednesday, August 05, 2015.



A 2002 Chevrolet being operated by 22 year old Whitney E. Jewell of Canmer, KY. was stopped on Lebanon Avenue waiting to make a left turn into Miller Park when a 2003 Ford being operated by 29 year old Mary D. Tenney of Summersville, KY. struck the Jewell vehicle in the rear.

Ms. Tenney was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campbellsville / Taylor County EMS for treatment. Jewell was not injured.

Officer Bart Gilpin of the Campbellsville Police Department investigated the incident. Agencies responding include Campbellsville Police Department, Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS, and the Campbellsville Fire Department.
