Huston Leslie "Sonny" Mardis, Taylor Co., KY (1953-2015) Huston Leslie "Sonny" Mardis of Campbellsville, KY son of the late Harry Leslie Mardis and Mary Elizabeth Smith Mardis, was born May 25, 1953, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died Monday, August 3, 2015 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 62 years, two months, and nine days. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church. He is survived by a special cousin and caregiver, Ann Cox and husband, Butch of Campbellsville, as well as his many friends and caregivers at Grandview Nursing & Rehab and many other cousins and friends. He was also preceded in death by five aunts and four uncles, including two special aunts who were also caregivers, Margaret Acree and Frances Smith. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Grandview Nursing & Rehab Fund or Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
