Sheila Ann Clements Burton, Columbia, KY (1948-2015)

She loved to see her children, grandbabies, and great–grandbabies pull into her drive way for a visit. Sheila enjoyed picking blackberries, reading, fishing, and was an avid Kentucky basketball fan. She was a member of a large, highly regarded Adair County, KY, family. Her beloved husband, Frankie Burton, survives. She leaves 30 direct living descendants

Sheila Ann Clements Burton of Adair County, KY passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 67.

Funeral services are 12pmCT/1pmET, Monday, August 3, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Richard Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, beside St. Bernard Church, 5075 KY 551, Clementsville, KY. Visitation is Sunday from 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Born Tuesday, June 2, 1948 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Bob and Mary Audra Clements. She died in Adair County,KY, Friday, July 31, 2015, at the age of 67 years, one month, and 29 days.

She loved to see her children, grandbabies, and great –grandbabies pull into her drive way for a visit. Sheila enjoyed picking blackberries, reading, fishing, and was an avid Kentucky basketball fan. Survivors include her beloved husband, Frankie L. Burton, 66, , and the following:
  • Four children: Teresa (and Joe), Tony (and Rhonda), Doug (and Kate), and Kevin (and Heather)

  • Thirteen grandchildren: LaTrisha (and Matt), LaTasha (and Steve), Timothy (and Liz), Constance, Joseph II (and Monica) , Jessica (and Brandon), Michael, Nick , Ben, Madison , Laydence, Blaine, and Grayson

  • Thirteen great-grandchildren: Colin, Adrieanna, Gracie, Natalie, Tanner, Aislin, NinaMae, Logan, J.P. III, Avrie, Amelia, Dalton and Landon

  • Three sisters: Nannette (and Lee), Lena Beth (and Gary) and Mary Lee

  • Three brothers, Phillip, Kent (and Cathy), and Brent (and Tracy)

  • And her extended family and many friends
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three infant siblings.
